Project Collin: counting the days until Austin

So the day is getting close, things are more real, my excitement continues to increase.

48 days until I actually move into my new place.

45 days until I pack up a moving truck and head west.

46 days until I finally meet the awesome Amy Jo and drink some beers with while also seeing NOLA, and staying in a swank hotel in the French Quarter.

40 days until my last shift at my current store.

I signed my lease 2 days ago, I’ll actually be paying for six weeks of rent without living there, demand was high, I wanted this place.  It’s on Penny Lane for goodness sake, it’s condo # is 111, this place was meant for me.

I still need to reserve my moving truck, will look into this tomorrow.

I have things I need to purchase before my move:

• a new bookshelf (threw my old one away, it was falling apart)
• a coffee table, deciding on new and cheap or a oldie from a thrift store
• a converter for the cigarette lighter for a normal plug so I can run the filter for my fish on the travel across the country
• a bathroom set, deciding on color
• a yellow pair of chucks (I just want them)
• a few more frames
